Very clean, good food. The service was very quick and friendly. This restaurant still has good German home-style cooking. For that I would even give six stars. Keep it up. This restaurant comes highly recommended. Will eat there again.

Only the food is OK here. The staff is an unfriendly service and nothing from the service to be felt. When we entered the restaurant and wanted to ask for ice cream, she said stressedly “Not now!” You are treated very badly even as a guest. We ordered a soup, ice cream and cake. The cold dishes came quite quickly, the soup after everyone was ready. The candle on the table is not lit. The juice ordered must be poured from the bottle yourself. When we were done, no waitress came to collect, but at some point we got up and went to the counter to pay independently.

Very clear menu offer. Fortunately we had a nice table outside. The food was eaten delicious. The services fit the hotel.

Rude from the staff to the boss, wanted chicken breasts full of pork that doesn't work out, I wanted to speak to the boss who said smoothly come back tomorrow. The staff said beforehand that the boss was no friendlier than you.

Food was good prices too ... after we asked 3 times for the bill we got up demonstratively !!! And was ignored even while standing 3 times before we could finally pay!

Unfriendly service! In addition, supposedly too many guests "inside everything would be full" and there was hardly anything going on, so we stopped at the kitchen, but we could order drinks. Then several guests turned away on the grounds that they were understaffed. Shortly afterwards on the grounds that they had finished work. At 6:22 p.m. a sign was hung up “Today due to illness until 5 p.m. kitchen, closed from 6 p.m.” Guests who came with us fairly promptly were allowed to order food!

The staff was totally rude & didn't look after us. After waiting 10 minutes we were asked if we wanted to eat ... oh no, we're only sitting here because the atmosphere is so nice. (The ambience is not nice). When we answered that we wanted to eat something, it was said that she had just found out that the kitchen was closed & that there was nothing left. Many thanks too.

I've only been an hour, I didn't have time to try too much. I found it normal, clear mountain style, and the service was very nice.

I've never eaten so bad and the whole restaurant smelled of fat fries

The meal took a relatively long time, even though the restaurant was almost empty. The forest mushroom schnitzel is not cheap anyway at € 15.80. There was a small and not juicy schnitzel, with 5 frozen croquettes and a very small blob of the forest mushroom sauce. When asked if I could get a little more sauce, it wouldn't even be enough for the croquettes, the cook said that I would have to pay extra for it. Cat's catastrophic behavior. Overall, you can only advise against a visit!

When we visited the restaurant staff was very friendly and courteous. The drinks were brought quickly, despite additional tasks. (Coronaliste ......) The food was tasty and also reasonably priced.

I don't know if there is any good food in Harz. The schnitzel was really chewy, the champion souce was delicious, but you had to search, far too little. The children had colored pasta, the portion was so small that they still ate with us, which was not much anyway.

Very delicious home cooking!

The offer is more like home cooking :-) But it tastes delicious !! We were pleased that the restaurant also deliberately does not offer Nestlé water (eg S. Pellegrino), which are known for "water exploitation"! ... instead there is regional water.

Unfortunately, the ambience is getting old. When entering, a strange smell comes across, which does not fade away over the entire stay. The service was prompt. Unfortunately, the dessert was on the table before the drink. The dessert tasted, but worked like frozen microwaves dessert. The location right at the from / to the mountain is great. The restaurant was great for warming up after the descent in the cold.

During a short visit in Bad Harzburg lunch here, before it went on the mountain railway on the castle hill and then walk down. The food was delicious, there was mushroom schnitzel (photo) and cabbage roulade. The service was very nice and helpful. We'll be back!

Absolutely unsatisfactory operation. We had to wait over 35 minutes for a waitress. When my husband complained at the end, we got a cheeky, derisive answer that we had to actively visit the service. An absolute impudence, I can not leave my 3 children alone. My recommendation: Finally arrive in modern times and improve your service concept!

Not so many dish choices. The food was good, not amazing. Service was very pleasent and prices are reasonable.

Nice friendly service (hard to come by round here). Inexpensive traditional food. Recommended.
